Definition is good. Definition is great. We want things to be what they are, not what they aren’t.

Culture is redefining words. Who has the ultimate authority over meaning.

Logos – the word for Jesus “Jesus is the Word” meaning He is the Truth, the ultimate reality, all that is true, beautiful and good. We want to be accurate with what God says it is.

Redefining happens when we want to feel better about things we are doing or want. Redefining gives us permission. If we can redefine sin, then we can live according to how we want to live.
